Dr. Anthony South obtained his Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree in 2016 from University of Minnesota, where he also achieved a double minor in both Spanish and Biology. During his studies at University of Minnesota, he worked as an Emergency Department Technician for Fairview Ridges Hospital, providing direct and indirect patient care. Dr. South graduated in 2022 from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where he maintained excellent academics & worked in 5 community health centers across the country during his 4th year of school. He had the opportunity to study abroad & completed a healthcare-themed internship in Santiago, Chile. He is an active member of the American Dental Association & the American Dental Education Association.
Dr. South enjoys all aspects of dentistry to include Oral Surgery, Dental Implants, Endodontics, Orthodontic Clear Aligner Therapy, Restorative & Cosmetic Treatment. He is passionate about dentistry and continues to pursue Continuing Education opportunities to expand his skills as a general dentist while improving the health of those in our community. Dr. South is a native English speaker while also proficient in Spanish.
Dr. South has spent a lot of time in the community & has an impressive history of Volunteer Services including “Give Kids A Smile Day”, Big Brother – Big Sister of the Great Twin Cities, EMT – University of Minnesota Emergency Medical Services, “Here To Help” Ambassador – Hennepin County Medical Center, Blood Services Volunteer – American Red Cross & Short-Term Mission Trips to Guatemala & Costa Rica.
Dr. South enjoys spending his free time playing soccer, scuba diving (certified PADI Open Water Diver), fitness (certified First Degree Black Belt), watching movies, traveling, woodworking & hiking.
